# SEO / AI Search Content & Product Research Virtual Assistant – Underwater Photography Ecommerce We are an established ecommerce company specializing in underwater photography equipment, including underwater camera housings, strobes, lenses, ports, cameras, and accessories. We are looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help us improve our blogs for **SEO and AI-powered search/recommendation platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI results.** This is not a general administrative VA position. The primary work will involve **content research, product comparisons, buying guides, and building accurate compatibility information** for underwater photography equipment. You do **not** need to be an underwater photography expert when you start. We will provide training, guidance and product knowledge. However, you must be an excellent researcher and comfortable learning technical products. ## What You'll Work On ### 1. Buying Guides & Recommendation Content Research and help create useful pages answering questions customers commonly ask before purchasing. Examples: * Best underwater cameras for beginners * Best underwater camera setups by budget * Best underwater strobes * Best underwater macro lenses * Best underwater cameras for macro photography * Best underwater camera setups for travel * Recommended TG-7 underwater photography setups The goal is to create genuinely useful resources that can perform well in Google while also being easy for AI systems such as ChatGPT and Gemini to understand and recommend. ### 2. Product Comparison Content Research and organize comparisons such as: * TG-7 vs GoPro for underwater photography * TG-7 vs RX100 VII * INON vs Sea & Sea strobes * One strobe vs two strobes * Strobe vs video light You will research specifications, compatibility, advantages/disadvantages, ideal users, and important differences. Our team will review technical recommendations before publication. ### 3. Product Compatibility Research A major part of this project will involve building a structured compatibility database. You may research relationships such as: **Camera → Housing → Lens → Port → Extension → Adapter → Strobe/Trigger** For example: Camera: Canon EOS R10 Housing: Compatible underwater housings Lens: RF-S 10-18mm Port: Compatible dome port Extensions/adapters: Required components Accuracy is extremely important. However, AI should assist your research, not replace it. Technical specifications and compatibility information must be verified against reliable sources, preferably official manufacturer documentation. We are specifically looking for someone who understands the difference between: **Using AI to work faster** and **blindly copying AI-generated information.** ## Ideal Candidate You should be: * An excellent online researcher * HTML/WordPress efficient * Extremely detail-oriented * Comfortable working with technical products * Experienced with Google Sheets or Excel * Familiar with SEO/content research * Comfortable using ChatGPT or similar AI tools * Able to organize complicated information clearly * Able to verify information using manufacturer websites and documentation * Comfortable learning a specialized industry Experience with ecommerce, photography, scuba diving, cameras, SEO, or technical product catalogs is a major plus, but not required. ## What Success Looks Like After the first few months, we want to have: * High-quality buying guides targeting important customer questions * Useful product comparison pages * Structured compatibility information for our major camera systems * Better internal linking between educational content and products * Content designed to perform in both traditional search and AI-powered recommendations * A growing, reliable product compatibility database ## Paid Test Project We will start shortlisted applicants with a small paid research project. You may be asked to research one underwater camera system and provide: 1. Compatible underwater housings 2. Several popular lenses 3. Compatible ports/extensions for those lenses 4. Recommended strobe options 5. Links to the manufacturer sources used to verify the information 6.
