Construction Project Coordinator Needed for Travel Center / C-Store / Fuel Station Scope Matrix

We are looking for an experienced construction project coordinator to help our company manage owner-side scope coordination for a new travel center / convenience store / fuel station project. This is a commercial construction coordination role focused on organizing our company’s responsibilities, vendor coordination, procurement deadlines, and scope demarcation. We are not looking for a general labor contractor. We need someone who can read a construction schedule, identify owner/vendor responsibilities, and turn the information into a clear action plan. The project includes: • Convenience store / service center • Fuel station and fuel canopy • Underground fuel systems • QSR / restaurant buildout areas • Kitchen and foodservice equipment • Beverage equipment and soda/syrup lines • Refrigeration / cooler / freezer coordination • Low voltage, data, security, cameras, POS coordination • FF&E, millwork, shelving, and owner-furnished equipment • Interior and exterior signage / canopy branding Our current need: We received an updated construction schedule from the project team. Several items are marked as our company’s responsibility or placeholder owner-scope. We need help reviewing the schedule and building a detailed responsibility/demarcation matrix so our team knows exactly what we need to provide, coordinate, approve, purchase, install, connect, test, and commission. We are looking for help with owner-side construction coordination for a new convenience store / fuel station / QSR project. The immediate task is to review a construction schedule and create a clear responsibility/demarcation matrix for owner-supplied items such as kitchen equipment, beverage equipment, refrigeration, low voltage/security/POS, FF&E, signage, and fuel-system coordination. We need someone who can identify what our team must purchase, coordinate, install, connect, test, or approve, and help us prepare questions for the GC/architect/project team. The first assignment will be to review the current construction schedule and create: 1. Owner-scope responsibility matrix 2. Procurement/decision deadline tracker 3. Coordination meeting question list 4. Open-item log What we will provide: • Current construction schedule • Project email/context • List of known owner-scope items • Internal vendor information where available • Any relevant drawings/specs if available You should have experience with one or more of the following: • commercial construction coordination • owner’s representative support • retail construction • convenience store construction • fuel station construction • restaurant / QSR buildouts • kitchen equipment coordination • beverage equipment coordination • low-voltage / security / POS coordination • FF&E / owner-furnished equipment coordination • construction schedule review • vendor scope demarcation
