AI Consultant

8+ years building and shipping data or AI systems, with at least 2 years designing LLM-based applications in production Prior consulting or professional services experience, ideally in a PE or portfolio-company context Demonstrated ownership of a system end to end: architecture, spec, build, deployment, and user adoption Strong Python; comfort with modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) and cloud deployment (GCP, Azure, AWS) Working fluency with frontier model APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini), agentic patterns, retrieval-augmented systems, and structured extraction Genuine client-facing capability — you can present to a COO or an operating partner, defend an architecture, and hear "that's not what we need" without losing the thread Judgment about when not to build. The best architecture is often the smallest one that fits the client's existing workflow.
