Hey! I’m a DJ and I record my sets using an Insta360 camera. I’m looking for a video editor to help turn my footage into: - Short-form content (Reels/TikTok) – main work - Occasional full DJ set videos (length may vary) Work will vary depending on how often I record, but I’m looking for someone reliable for ongoing collaboration. What you’ll be editing: - 360 footage (reframing required) - Audio is already synced (DO NOT change audio) - Full set footage will be provided (editor will help select best moments for Reels) Core Editing: - Smooth, natural transitions (no abrupt cuts) - Clean reframing using keyframes (keep DJ centered) - Camera movement should feel like one continuous shot (no random spinning) DJ Performance Focus: - Highlight mixing moments: - Hands on controller - Knob/fader transitions - Slight zoom during drops/transitions Crowd Shots: - Include crowd shots during high-energy moments - Especially right after drops - For Reels: mostly short clips, but longer shots are okay if the energy is strong - For full sets: allow longer crowd shots to build atmosphere - Always balance between DJ focus and crowd energy Editing Style: - Clean, smooth, professional - High-energy for Reels, more minimal/immersive for full set - Let good shots breathe (don’t over-edit long videos) Music Timing: - Build-up → slower movement - Drop → quicker cuts + tighter zooms Output: - Vertical (9:16) for Instagram/TikTok - Horizontal (16:9) for YouTube Optional: - Open to discussing a monthly rate later if work becomes consistent Looking for: - Reliable + good communication - Experience with music/DJ content is a plus - 360 editing experience is a BIG plus - Capcut experience - Insta 360 software experience - Knowledgeable in EDM To apply, send: - Portfolio or sample edits - Instagram handle (if any)
