Content Operations & Compliance Specialist

Away Together is a fast-growing travel media company helping travelers pack smarter, travel lighter, and make better decisions. Every week, we publish new resources, tools, and guides that thousands of travelers rely on. We're looking for a Content Operations & Compliance Specialist to join our team part-time (20-30 hrs/week). This role is about stewardship, accuracy, and consistency — keeping our publishing machine running smoothly and ensuring our content remains trustworthy. WHAT YOU'LL DO Affiliate Link Stewardship (the most important part of this role) A large share of our revenue flows through our affiliate links, so accuracy here is non-negotiable. - Maintain our master affiliate link database as the single source of truth — products, programs, destination URLs, Geniuslink and Pretty Links, and last-checked dates. - Insert correct, current affiliate links across video descriptions, blog posts, and emails. - Run weekly audits on our highest-traffic pages to catch broken, expired, or mismatched links before they cost us. - This responsibility is phased: you'll begin in a QA capacity with full review of your work, and take ownership of live links once your accuracy is consistently proven. Video Admin - Upload videos and publish titles and descriptions from our templates. - Set tags, chapters and timecodes, cards, and end screens. - Tag and organize video files on our NAS. - Schedule publishing in line with the content calendar. Database Stewardship (WillMyBagFit) - Maintain our Supabase database of airlines and luggage products. - Keep specs, measurements, and affiliate links current. - Run weekly audits and track all changes. Blog Publishing (10-15/week) - Convert YouTube scripts into SEO-friendly blog posts using our WordPress template. - Reformat content into clear, digestible sections (headings, bullets, lists). - Update older posts with fresh facts and links. - Publish in WordPress with correct affiliate tracking (Geniuslink). Content & Communications Operations - Contact form management: review submissions twice daily, route each to the right person, and reply to common requests using approved templates. - Course operations: download live call recordings and upload them to Thinkific with correct naming and tagging. - Email production: build and schedule our weekly newsletter in Beehiiv from a provided outline — we own the voice, you own the assembly and QC. SUCCESS METRICS - Affiliate links: zero broken or incorrect links on top pages; weekly audits completed and logged. - Publishing: 10-15 posts live each week, error-free. - Compliance: 100% of card updates handled within 48 hours. - Database: weekly audits completed with 100% of changes logged. - Card pages: 4-5 new pages/week until the backlog is complete. WHO YOU ARE - Detail-oriented and genuinely proud of accuracy — the kind of person who is mildly bothered by a broken link or a sloppy disclosure. - Energized by running a well-built system with excellence. You'll notice friction and suggest improvements, but your satisfaction comes from the machine running flawlessly, not from redesigning it. - Strong written English. - Comfortable with WordPress, spreadsheets, Beehiiv, Thinkific, and AI tools. - Organized, process-driven, and reliable. - Based in LATAM with availability 9am-3pm CST. - You see this as a responsibility, not just a task list.
