Summary We are developing a comprehensive Core Macroeconomics curriculum aligned with foundational economic theories and real-world policy applications. The content includes, but is not limited to, the following topics: Business Cycles and Economic Fluctuations, including expansion and recession phases and the cyclical behavior of key macroeconomic variables; Aggregate Demand and Aggregate Supply, including determinants, equilibrium, and macroeconomic outcomes; National Income and Expenditure Models, including the Keynesian Cross, planned aggregate expenditure, and the multiplier concept; IS-LM Framework, including the derivation and shifts of the IS curve, monetary and fiscal policy analysis, and macroeconomic equilibrium; Inflation and Unemployment, including demand-pull and cost-push inflation, labor market indicators, and productivity; Macroeconomic Policy, including fiscal policy, taxation, public debt, debt-to-GDP ratio, and central bank monetary policy; and Contemporary Macroeconomic Issues, including financial crises, economic recessions, stabilization policies, and long-term economic growth. Our goal is to create an engaging, standards-aligned learning experience that promotes analytical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and practical understanding of macroeconomic principles for undergraduate learners. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Macroeconomics Content Reviewer to evaluate and refine educational materials covering core macroeconomic concepts. The ideal candidate will ensure that the content is economically accurate, pedagogically effective, and aligned with curriculum objectives for undergraduate-level learners. Key Responsibilities Review and assess the accuracy, depth, and quality of educational content across the core macroeconomics topics listed above. Ensure content is aligned with established macroeconomic theories, models, and policy frameworks. Provide detailed feedback to improve conceptual clarity, logical progression, and instructional effectiveness, particularly for quantitative and graphical economic models. Verify the accuracy of economic terminology, mathematical calculations, graphs, policy analyses, and real-world examples. Evaluate whether lessons effectively develop learners' analytical reasoning, economic interpretation, and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with curriculum developers to revise and enhance content while maintaining high-quality academic standards. Ensure consistency in terminology, notation, tone, and instructional style across lessons and modules. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Economics, Macroeconomics, Applied Economics, Public Policy, or a closely related field (required). At least 3 years of academic, teaching, or professional experience in economics or related disciplines. Strong understanding of macroeconomic theory, fiscal and monetary policy, economic modeling, and business cycle analysis. Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills. Prior experience reviewing or developing educational content (videos, textbooks, assessments, or e-learning materials) is highly preferred.
