Copy editor for medical resource pages needed for maternity leave

Rare Disease Advisor, a digital brand for healthcare providers, is seeking a copy editor for medical resource pages. This is a temporary role to fill in for a copy editor going on maternity leave. The duration of the position will be approximately 6-8 weeks. It is expected to begin in early October, though it may begin earlier. The copy editor will work in Google Docs to copy edit 20-25 resource page drafts created by freelance writers. They will communicate with the writer about any questions or significant changes needed. They will also make sure the article is within the assigned word limit, organize text into sections with subheadings, and ensure the page adheres to house and AMA style guides.
