Copywriter - Fez, Morocco | Social Media & Short-Form

We’re a media team based in Fez, Morocco, building a street-interview brand focused on money, business, and success in the style of School of Hard Knocks. We’re looking for a freelance copywriter to create sharp English-language hooks, captions, titles, and social copy. This is a remote freelance contract. No office attendance is required. All communication, contracts, and payments will stay on Upwork. You’ll use AI tools like Claude to draft faster, but the final work must sound human, specific, and on-brand. We need strong editorial judgment, not copied-and-pasted AI output. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Write hooks, captions, titles, and post copy for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X - Turn raw interview moments into punchy stories that make people stop scrolling - Write on-screen hooks and thumbnail or headline options - Use Claude or similar tools for drafting, then rewrite for voice, rhythm, and accuracy - Help maintain a consistent publishing cadence and simple content calendar - Track which hooks and captions perform and use that feedback in future work - Collaborate remotely with our Fez-based content team WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Excellent written English and a natural feel for US internet voice - Strong editing instincts and close attention to detail - Comfortable using AI as a writing assistant without flattening the voice - Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X - Reliable, organized, and comfortable with recurring deadlines - Familiarity with Morocco, Arabic, or French is helpful but not required DETAILS - Remote freelance contract - Ongoing work with steady weekly volume - Hourly, contracted and paid through Upwork - We’ll begin with a small paid writing contract through Upwork before moving into recurring work TO APPLY Please send through Upwork: 1.
