Course Video Editor for Primavera P6
Worldwide
Project Overview We are developing a professional online Project Controls Bootcamp covering Primavera P6, planning, scheduling, cost controls, and related Project Controls disciplines. We already have recorded instructor-led classroom training footage and have received permission from the instructor to professionally edit and commercialize the training content through our online learning platform. We are looking for an experienced Course Video Editor / E-Learning Video Producer who can transform the existing classroom recordings into polished, structured, premium online course content. This is NOT simply a cut-and-trim editing project. We want someone who can help us turn raw classroom instruction into a professional digital learning experience. Scope of Work The selected editor will help with: 1. Raw Footage Review & Cleanup • Review existing classroom training recordings • Remove dead space, breaks, interruptions, unnecessary conversations, and repetitive sections • Improve pacing and transitions • Correct or minimize distracting classroom footage where possible 2. Audio & Video Enhancement • Clean and normalize instructor audio • Reduce background/classroom noise • Improve speech clarity • Color-correct and enhance footage • Stabilize/crop footage where appropriate 3. Course Structure Help break long classroom recordings into logical online lessons. Example: Module 1 – Primavera P6 Fundamentals Lesson 1.1 – Introduction to Primavera P6 Lesson 1.2 – Enterprise Project Structure Lesson 1.3 – Creating a Project Lesson 1.4 – WBS Development Lesson 1.5 – Activities & Relationships Lesson 1.6 – Scheduling & Critical Path Each lesson should feel like an intentional training module rather than a segment cut from a long classroom recording. 4. Professional Course Branding Create a consistent visual package including: • Course intro/outro • Module title screens • Lesson title screens • Instructor identification • Lower thirds • Topic transitions • Chapter markers • Key-point callouts • Branded graphics • Professional course thumbnails 5. Technical Training Enhancement Because this is software and Project Controls training, the editor should be comfortable working with: • Screen recordings • Primavera P6 demonstrations • Excel demonstrations • PowerPoint presentations • Scheduling diagrams • Charts and dashboards Where appropriate, we want the instructor footage combined with enlarged or cleaned-up screen content so students can clearly see what is being demonstrated. 6. Captions & Learning Accessibility • Accurate English captions/subtitles • Clean terminology for Primavera P6 and Project Controls concepts • On-screen definitions or key takeaways where useful 7. Final Course Deliverables Final videos should be optimized for our web-based learning platform. Deliverables should include: • Individual lesson videos • Consistent naming convention • Web-ready HD exports • Course/module thumbnails • Editable project/source files • Organized asset library Ideal Candidate We prefer someone with experience producing: • Udemy-style courses • Professional training programs • Corporate learning content • Technical/software tutorials • LMS/e-learning content Experience with construction, engineering, Primavera P6, Project Management, or Project Controls content is a major advantage, but not required. IMPORTANT – Paid Test Project Before awarding the complete project, we would like shortlisted candidates to complete a paid sample edit using approximately 5–10 minutes of our actual training footage. The objective is to see how you would transform the raw classroom recording into a professional online course lesson. If the sample meets our expectations, we intend to engage the selected editor for the complete Project Controls Bootcamp and potentially additional courses. When Applying Please provide: 1. Examples of online courses or educational videos you have edited. 2. Before-and-after examples, if available. 3. Your preferred editing software. 4. Your experience working with long-form classroom or technical training footage. 5. Your proposed pricing structure for a larger course library. 6. How you would approach converting classroom footage into premium online course content. We are looking for a professional who can potentially become our long-term e-learning video production partner, not simply someone to edit one video.
