# AI Video Producer / Editor for Cinematic YouTube & Social Series — Brain Studio **Project Type:** Freelance / Ongoing potential **Initial Project:** Paid test episode **Experience Level:** Intermediate to Expert **Budget:** Fixed-price test project; ongoing work available for the right person ## About the Project I am developing **Brain Studio**, an original educational video series built around **Dr. E**, a warm, quirky retired neurosurgeon who makes neuroscience understandable, fascinating, and human. The series takes place primarily in **The Study**, a warm, cinematic environment overlooking the coast. Dr. E is joined by Watson, a softly glowing blue anatomical brain who never speaks but occasionally reacts to her. The goal is not to create typical fast-paced AI social content. Brain Studio should feel **cinematic, intelligent, warm, calm, subtly humorous, and highly consistent from episode to episode**. Think thoughtful science storytelling rather than TikTok-style editing. I have already created the characters, environment, visual direction, brand standards, scripts, and first episode. You will NOT be asked to invent the brand from scratch. I am looking for someone who can help me turn those established creative assets into polished videos efficiently and consistently. ## What You'll Receive For each project, I will provide the creative direction, finished script, storyboard/shot list, Dr. E character reference, The Study environment reference, Watson reference, visual/style guidelines, dialogue and pacing direction, and Episode 001 as a reference for the established Brain Studio world. Your job is primarily **production and execution**. ## What I Need You To Do Create visually consistent AI-generated video shots from supplied reference images and prompts. Maintain Dr. E's appearance across scenes. Maintain continuity of The Study, Watson, lighting, props, wardrobe, and camera style. Create subtle, believable human motion rather than exaggerated AI movement. Produce natural facial expressions, gestures, blinking, breathing, and eye contact. Handle or improve lip synchronization when dialogue is required. Edit individual shots into a finished sequence. Add dialogue/voice tracks, ambient sound, music, transitions, captions, and final color/visual adjustments when appropriate. Deliver finished social-media-ready and YouTube-ready video files. ## The Visual Style Brain Studio uses a warm, cinematic visual language. The world includes natural morning light, warm walnut wood, muted navy and cream tones, subtle coastal influences, shallow depth of field, slow deliberate camera movement, realistic human motion, comfortable pauses, and quiet environmental details. **No frantic editing.** **No exaggerated AI animation.** **No flashy transitions.** **No generic influencer aesthetic.** Sometimes the best Brain Studio shot is simply Dr. E sitting quietly while steam rises from her tea and Watson gives one gentle blue pulse. ## Dr. E Dr. E is intelligent but never intimidating. She is warm, curious, slightly quirky, occasionally absent-minded, gently funny, and deeply fascinated by the human brain. Her humor is subtle. She should never feel like a cartoon character, salesperson, influencer, or television presenter. The viewer should feel as though they have been invited into her Study for a conversation. ## Initial Paid Audition The first assignment will be a **short 30–60 second Brain Studio sequence** using supplied assets. You will receive the script, reference images, character/environment standards, and creative direction. The test will evaluate: **Character consistency** — Does Dr. E remain recognizably Dr. E? **Environmental consistency** — Does The Study remain the same place? **Natural movement** — Do gestures and expressions feel human? **Pacing** — Are you comfortable allowing quiet moments? **Editing judgment** — Do cuts serve the story rather than call attention to themselves? **AI artifact control** — Can you identify and correct distracting generation problems? **Following direction** — Can you preserve an established creative world instead of redesigning it? This is a paid test. If the collaboration works well, there is potential for ongoing Brain Studio production. ## Tools Experience with one or more modern AI video platforms is required. Experience with tools such as Kling, Runway, OpenArt, Veo or comparable image-to-video systems is useful. Editing experience with **CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro**, or equivalent professional software is strongly preferred. I care much more about the finished result than which specific tools you use. ## Who I'm Looking For I'm looking for someone who understands that **AI video production is filmmaking—not simply prompt generation**. You should have a strong eye for continuity, composition, lighting, timing, facial performance, storytelling, and sound. You should also be comfortable receiving detailed creative direction. This is an established visual world. I welcome production suggestions, but I am not looking for someone to completely redesign the characters or visual identity. ## When Applying Please begin your proposal with the words: **“Curiosity is healthy.”** Then answer these questions: 1. Please provide 2–3 examples of your best AI-generated videos featuring a consistent human character across multiple shots. 2. Which AI video tools do you currently use and why? 3. How do you maintain character and environment consistency between AI-generated shots? 4. How do you handle unnatural facial movement, hands, lip synchronization, and other common AI-video artifacts? 5. Which editing software do you use? 6. Are you comfortable producing slower cinematic scenes where subtle acting and silence are more important than constant movement? 7. Approximately how long would you expect a polished 30–60 second sequence like this to take? 8. What would you charge for the initial paid test? ## Important Please do **not** send a generic AI-generated proposal. I am specifically looking for someone who has already produced convincing **character-driven AI video**. If your portfolio primarily contains landscapes, advertisements, music videos, talking avatars, or rapid AI montages, this project may not be the right fit. Character consistency and subtle human performance are the priorities. ## The Opportunity My goal is to build Brain Studio into an ongoing educational entertainment property for YouTube and social media. The right producer/editor could become a long-term creative production partner as the series grows. The creative philosophy behind Brain Studio is simple: **We aren't trying to make people watch more content.** **We're trying to create a place they're grateful to return to.**
