Creative & Brand Quality Lead — Multi-Brand Content Strategy & Editorial Review
Worldwide
I run a code-and-API-driven content operation across six brands, each with its own voice, registry, and campaign calendar (one is fully built out at professional depth; five need to be brought to the same standard). I need someone with real creative-director-level judgment to own brand voice, strategy, and quality — not to write copy from a blank page every day, but to define what "on-brand" means for each property and hold the line on it. You will: - Write and maintain the one-line campaign briefs that seed each week's content (the single input the production system fans out into blog, video, email, SMS, and 9 social channels) - Build out the remaining five brands' content calendars/registries to match the standard of the one that's already live — campaign arcs, weekly themes, recurring content threads, brand rails - Maintain and evolve each brand's voice guideline doc (banned words, tone, claims discipline, visual identity rules) - Review rendered/drafted content before it publishes: does the copy match the brand's actual voice, does the VO/music match the spec, does it read as premium or templated, would a banned-word or overclaim slip through the automated check - Flag anything below standard back to the Technical Content Operator for a fix — you do not touch the render pipeline yourself - Escalate anything you're unsure fits brand strategy to me directly, rather than deciding alone You will NOT be expected to: write code, run FFmpeg/Remotion, touch the publishing API, or manage the technical pipeline. A separate Technical Content Operator owns execution; you own whether what gets executed is actually good and on-brand. Required: - Strong portfolio of brand voice/copywriting work — ideally across multiple distinct brand voices, not one house style applied everywhere - Comfortable reviewing high volume (dozens of assets/week across six brands eventually) without losing consistency - Able to write clear, specific creative briefs that a system (human or AI) can execute against without guessing - Nice to have: experience briefing AI generation tools (any LLM), since your briefs feed directly into an AI-assisted drafting step Question: Start your proposal with 'VOICE CHECKED.' Then tell me: describe a time you had to hold a brand's voice consistent across a high volume of content without personally writing every piece — how did you do it?"
