Creative Fashion Designer Product Developer

Fashion Product Developer & Apparel Designer to help develop an emerging luxury men’s and women’s lifestyle brand from brand identity, Pinterest mood boards, and SKU ideas into original garment designs, collection concepts, and production-ready products. Review the Daddy Pays brand identity deck, Pinterest mood boards, target customer, and initial SKU list Develop a cohesive creative direction for the first men’s and women’s collection Translate inspiration references into original Daddy Pays garment concepts Create initial fashion sketches/concept designs for each approved SKU Refine silhouettes, proportions, collars, cuffs, pockets, closures, hems, and other design details Develop recommended colorways for each SKU Recommend suitable fabrics, fabric weights, textures, washes, trims, buttons, labels, embroidery, and finishes Create clean front and back CAD flats / technical fashion illustrations for approved designs Provide design revisions based on founder feedback Help ensure the collection feels cohesive across men’s and women’s styles Create or coordinate tech packs for approved styles, including construction details, measurements, BOMs, trims, and specifications Assist with fabric and trim sourcing recommendations where needed Support prototype/sample development and provide sample review comments Make design or fit revisions after initial samples are produced Prepare final approved designs for handoff to manufacturers Ideally provide ongoing product-development support through sampling and pre-production and excellent visual taste. The ideal candidate should have experience in: Fashion design and collection development Menswear and/or womenswear Premium casualwear, resortwear, golf, tennis, or lifestyle apparel Luxury or contemporary fashion Translating mood boards and brand direction into original garment concepts Developing silhouettes, proportions, trims, fabrics, and colorways CAD flats and technical fashion illustrations Tech packs and production-ready specifications Fabric and trim sourcing Sample development and fit revisions Working directly with founders or emerging fashion brands Especially interested in candidates whose work reflects an understanding of elevated, timeless, polished fashion rather than trend-driven fast fashion. Aesthetic experience aligned with brands such as Ralph Lauren, Aimé Leon Dore, Casablanca, Orlebar Brown, Kith, Sporty & Rich, vintage Lacoste, and classic resort or country-club style is a plus. The strongest candidate will be able to take a brand identity deck, Pinterest inspiration boards, and a SKU list and independently develop thoughtful, original designs.
