Creative Photo Editor for Experimental Event Photography

I’m looking for a highly creative photo editor / digital artist to work with photography from live events and music festivals. This is not a traditional retouching job. I’m not looking for someone to simply color grade photos, apply presets, clean skin, or make basic lighting adjustments. I want someone who can take a strong event photograph and transform it into something unexpected. The goal is to experiment with edits that feel closer to editorial design, digital art, mixed media, and visual storytelling. What I’m Looking For: You should be comfortable experimenting with things like: Advanced photo compositing Brush strokes, textures, paint, and mixed-media elements Collage-style compositions Image manipulation and surreal edits Breaking subjects out of the original frame Layering multiple photographs together Distortion, motion, duplication, and experimental effects Creating completely new compositions from existing event photography I want the edits to feel intentional, artistic, bold, and different, not like something that could be achieved with a Lightroom preset. Think more along the lines of music artwork, fashion editorials, tour visuals, magazine spreads, or experimental campaign imagery. The Project: I will provide a selection of professional photographs from music festivals and live events. For the first project, I’d like you to take a few selected images and develop creative treatments around them. There will be room for you to bring your own ideas and visual style to the work. If we find a strong creative direction together, this could turn into ongoing work across multiple events and campaigns. Ideal Candidate: I’m especially interested in someone with experience in: Adobe Photoshop, photo manipulation, digital art, graphic design, editorial design, or creative compositing. When applying, please send examples of your most experimental work. I’m much more interested in seeing something unusual, artistic, or visually ambitious than traditional before-and-after retouching. If your portfolio includes music, fashion, nightlife, sports, festivals, album artwork, posters, or editorial work, even better. Please do not send only Lightroom edits, color grading, presets, or standard portrait retouching. I’m specifically looking for advanced creative editing and image manipulation.
