Summary

AK Social House is a creative content and digital media company helping founders, professionals, and personal brands grow their authority, visibility, and businesses through strategic short-form content, podcast production, video editing, and innovative content systems. We already have a talented production team that includes video editors, graphic designers, and social media support. We are now looking for a highly proactive, strategic, organized, and experienced leader who can connect creative direction, client success, content performance, production planning, quality assurance, and team accountability. This is not simply a social media posting position or a traditional account-management role. We need someone who can take ownership of each client account - from strategy and creative planning through production, approvals, scheduling, publishing oversight, performance analysis, and client satisfaction. We are specifically looking for someone who is proactive rather than reactive. This person must anticipate problems, identify opportunities, bring solutions, communicate confidently with clients, and keep the team moving without requiring constant supervision. The Role The Creative Strategy, Client Success & Operations Manager will serve as the bridge between our clients and our production team. This person will be responsible for: • Developing the strategic direction for each client account. • Creating content plans designed to support measurable account growth. • Developing stronger hooks, messaging, concepts, captions, and calls to action. • Leading client communication and managing client relationships. • Providing the creative team with clear direction and expectations. • Planning production schedules based on client strategies and deadlines. • Coordinating editors, designers, and social media support. • Building and overseeing the quality-assurance process. • Monitoring deliverables, approvals, scheduling, and publishing. • Reviewing account performance and adjusting strategies accordingly. • Holding team members accountable for quality, communication, and deadlines. The goal of this position is to ensure every client has a clear strategy, every team member knows exactly what needs to be completed, every deliverable meets our standards, and every account is being actively managed toward growth. AK SOCIAL HOUSE | CAREER OPPORTUNITY Creative Strategy, Client Success & Operations Manager 2 Key Responsibilities Creative Strategy and Account Growth • Develop a customized monthly content and growth strategy for every assigned client. • Understand each client’s business, audience, offers, goals, positioning, voice, and competitive landscape. • Build clear content pillars designed to increase visibility, authority, trust, engagement, leads, and conversions. • Research competitors, industry leaders, audience behavior, and relevant content trends. • Identify strong content topics, hooks, messaging angles, campaigns, formats, and opportunities. • Create strategic plans that go beyond simply posting consistently. • Ensure every piece of content has a specific purpose within the larger account strategy. • Analyze why an account is or is not growing and create an actionable improvement plan. • Review content performance and adjust future strategies based on analytics. • Proactively bring new ideas, recommendations, and growth opportunities to clients. • Identify which content formats, topics, and messaging styles should be expanded, improved, tested, or discontinued. • Ensure content supports both audience growth and the client’s larger business objectives. Hooks, Copy, and Creative Direction • Develop strong short-form video hooks, concepts, titles, captions, calls to action, and messaging angles. • Turn client expertise, podcast footage, interviews, raw ideas, and educational information into compelling content. • Create content briefs that clearly communicate the objective, hook, structure, tone, and intended audience. • Provide editors and designers with clear creative direction. • Direct pacing, storytelling, B-roll, graphics, visual emphasis, structure, and audience-retention elements. • Ensure content captures attention quickly and gives viewers a reason to continue watching. • Maintain a distinct voice, visual direction, and content style for every client. • Prevent generic, repetitive, or low-impact content from entering production. • Review content concepts and scripts before production to reduce unnecessary revisions. • Ensure the team understands the strategy behind the content rather than simply completing isolated tasks. • Identify opportunities to improve storytelling, positioning, authority, relatability, and emotional connection. Client Success and Communication • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. • Lead client onboarding calls, strategy meetings, feedback calls, and monthly performance reviews. • Communicate confidently and professionally with founders, executives, doctors, lawyers, coaches, consultants, and other professionals. • Clearly explain strategies, timelines, recommendations, performance, and creative decisions. • Present clients with proactive ideas instead of waiting for them to tell us what to create. • Gather client feedback and translate it into clear, actionable instructions for the production team. • Manage client expectations while maintaining a high standard of service. • Keep clients informed about progress, approvals, deadlines, and important updates. • Identify client concerns before they develop into larger problems. • Handle difficult conversations professionally, patiently, and confidently. • Maintain composure when dealing with revisions, changing priorities, urgent requests, or dissatisfied clients. • Build trust through preparation, responsiveness, transparency, and follow-through. • Take ownership of client satisfaction, retention, and the overall client experience. • Ensure clients feel that their accounts are being actively led rather than passively maintained. Production Planning and Team Scheduling • Build and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules based on each client’s approved strategy and content plan. • Translate monthly content strategies into clear production assignments. • Plan the workload of editors, designers, and social media team members. • Assign tasks based on team capacity, skill level, priorities, and delivery deadlines. • Ensure each team member understands what they are responsible for and when it is due. AK SOCIAL HOUSE | CAREER OPPORTUNITY Creative Strategy, Client Success & Operations Manager 3 • Coordinate the complete production workflow from strategy and scripting through editing, review, approval, scheduling, and publishing. • Ensure content enters production early enough to avoid last-minute emergencies. • Balance workloads and reassign tasks when a team member becomes overloaded. • Identify scheduling conflicts, delays, bottlenecks, and resource shortages before they affect clients. • Maintain a clear overview of all active client deliverables, revisions, approvals, and publishing dates. • Make sure the production team is working according to each client’s approved strategy and calendar. • Follow up proactively rather than waiting for deadlines to be missed. • Create contingency plans when priorities shift or unexpected challenges arise. • Ensure approved content is ready in advance rather than being completed at the last minute. • Monitor team capacity and communicate when additional resources may be required. Quality-Assurance Process and Publishing Oversight The Creative Strategy, Client Success & Operations Manager will own the quality-assurance process but will not be expected to personally complete every detailed spelling, grammar, technical, or publishing check. The manager will be responsible for building a reliable QA system, assigning clear ownership, confirming that the process is followed, conducting spot checks, and holding the appropriate team members accountable. Responsibilities include: • Build, document, and continuously improve the company’s quality-assurance process. • Create clear QA checklists for editors, designers, and the team member responsible for scheduling and publishing. • Define which team member is responsible for each stage of the review process. • Ensure editors review video quality, audio, pacing, framing, synchronization, graphics, branding, B-roll, transitions, and requested revisions. • Ensure the posting team reviews spelling, grammar, captions, covers, tags, locations, links, dates, platform settings, and scheduled publishing times. • Ensure the correct and approved version of each piece of content is being used. • Train team members on the quality standards and requirements for every client account. • Confirm that the QA checklist has been completed before content is delivered or published. • Conduct regular spot checks to verify that the QA process is being followed correctly. • Personally review high-priority, sensitive, complex, or high-risk content when necessary. • Monitor the publishing calendar to ensure approved content is scheduled correctly and on time. • Confirm that posts go live according to the approved schedule. • Address failed posts, missing content, incorrect versions, scheduling errors, or platform issues immediately. • Identify recurring errors and determine why they are happening. • Improve the process to prevent the same mistakes from happening repeatedly. • Hold the responsible team member accountable when quality standards, instructions, or deadlines are not met. • Maintain an organized approval, version-control, and escalation process. • Reduce mistakes, unnecessary revisions, missed deadlines, and client complaints through strong systems and accountability. The manager is responsible for the effectiveness of the QA system. The appropriate team members are responsible for completing the detailed checks assigned to them. Team Leadership and Accountability • Assign clear responsibilities, instructions, priorities, and deadlines. • Conduct regular production and account-management check-ins with the team. • Hold editors, designers, and social media team members accountable for quality, communication, and delivery. • Ensure team members communicate concerns before deadlines are at risk. • Follow up on incomplete work without requiring senior leadership to intervene. • Provide direct, constructive, and actionable feedback. • Ensure revisions are completed accurately and efficiently. • Identify performance issues, recurring mistakes, or workflow problems and recommend solutions. • Maintain organized project-management systems, account notes, content calendars, creative briefs, and production schedules. AK SOCIAL HOUSE | CAREER OPPORTUNITY Creative Strategy, Client Success & Operations Manager 4 • Improve workflows when recurring bottlenecks or communication problems are identified. • Create a culture in which team members take ownership instead of waiting for reminders. • Maintain high standards while communicating respectfully and professionally. • Escalate serious issues when necessary while bringing a recommended solution. • Recognize whether a problem is caused by an individual, insufficient training, unclear instructions, or a broken process. • Help team members improve while still holding them accountable for results. • Make sure responsibilities do not fall through the cracks between departments. Proactive Leadership Expectations We are specifically looking for someone who: • Anticipates what clients and team members will need before being asked. • Identifies potential problems early and takes action to prevent them. • Brings solutions rather than simply reporting problems. • Follows through without requiring constant reminders. • Takes responsibility when something goes wrong. • Thinks several steps ahead. • Communicates delays or concerns before they become emergencies. • Keeps clients and team members informed without being chased for updates. • Makes decisions confidently when appropriate. • Asks the right questions when information is unclear. • Looks for ways to improve systems, workflows, content quality, and client results. • Can work independently while still collaborating with leadership. • Remains calm, patient, and professional under pressure. • Can manage urgent situations without creating additional confusion. • Understands the difference between completing tasks and producing meaningful results. • Takes ownership of the entire account experience rather than focusing only on individual assignments. The successful candidate must be able to: • Manage multiple clients, team members, and deadlines at the same time. • Prioritize effectively when several urgent needs arise. • Remain calm when clients request changes or deadlines shift. • Make sound decisions without waiting for constant direction. • Resolve internal team issues without allowing them to affect the client. • Handle client complaints professionally and constructively. • Separate emotional reactions from practical business decisions. • Respond patiently while still protecting deadlines and quality standards. • Identify the root cause of a problem instead of repeatedly treating the symptoms. • Communicate clearly during stressful situations. • Create a solution, assign ownership, and follow the issue through completion. • Maintain professionalism even when other people are frustrated or under pressure. Required Qualifications • Proven experience in creative strategy, content strategy, social media growth, client success, account management, or creative operations. • A verifiable track record of helping personal brands, businesses, or social media accounts improve their content performance, audience growth, engagement, positioning, leads, or conversions. • The ability to provide case studies, analytics, links, references, testimonials, or other evidence of previous results. • Experience managing client relationships and leading professional client calls.
