Crypto Accountant (Solana): Build Tax-Ready Books for Two Token Creators, Then Stay On Monthly
Worldwide
We're a Miami-based accounting firm that works with online entrepreneurs and crypto-active clients. We need a crypto accountant who can turn Solana chain activity into books in Xero, and stay on as the monthly accountant for these clients through year-end close and beyond. You are not handing us a spreadsheet of transactions. You are handing us financial statements a tax preparer can file from. Our team sets the accounting policy and handles tax strategy. You own the data and the books. The two clients (worked in parallel, starting immediately): Client A: about 6 wallets. Created tokens and traded. Client B: roughly 500 wallets belonging to one operator who launched tokens (pump.fun and similar) and used many funded sub-wallets to participate in those launches. Most wallets were funded from a small number of source wallets and swept back. The whole cluster is one economic unit, one set of books. On tooling, so nobody wastes time guessing: We will license an enterprise crypto subledger for this work. Cryptio, Bitwave, Cryptoworth or similar. You do not need to build a custom Helius or RPC pipeline and we are not asking for one. If you have a strong view on which subledger suits a 500-wallet Solana cluster, we want to hear it. What we need is someone who can drive that subledger properly rather than accept its defaults: build the cluster map, classify at transaction level, decide what nets to zero, and post journals that tie out. A consumer tax tool is not a subledger and a gains report is not a set of books. Phase 1: Cleanup (2026 year to date) Wallet map for each cluster: funding graph, plus any wallets we didn't give you that clearly belong to the cluster. Full transaction coverage across each cluster, decoded and tagged: internal transfer (nets to zero), exchange deposit, exchange withdrawal, token creation, buy, sell, LP add/remove, creator fee claim, gas, other. USD pricing at time of transaction from a documented source. Chart of accounts we approve, built for this activity. Roughly: proceeds from self-created token sales, creator fee income, launch and bundling costs, LP costs, gas, tooling, gains and losses on third-party tokens, SOL and token holdings at cost, exchange balances. Journals posted to Xero, monthly, January through current month, tied out to on-chain balances and exchange statements at each month-end. Rolled-up journals are fine and probably preferable, as long as the detail stays traceable in the subledger. Deliverables: P&L, balance sheet, realized gains schedule for third-party tokens, per-token rollup for every created token (spent to launch, received from sales and fees, still held at year-end), and a one-page memo on your assumptions and anything you couldn't resolve. Phase 2: Monthly (through December close and into 2027) Rerun the pipeline, post the month, tie out, deliver statements by the 10th. Flag anything weird. Answer our questions in Slack within a business day. You're a fit if you: Have produced actual books for a crypto-native client, not just a Koinly gains report Have run an enterprise crypto subledger end to end (Cryptio, Bitwave, Cryptoworth, Integral, entendre or similar) and know where its defaults go wrong Know pump.fun, PumpSwap, Raydium, Jupiter or Meteora program activity on sight Are comfortable in Xero (or QBO and willing to switch) Understand that a 500-wallet cluster is one entity with a lot of addresses, not 500 sets of books Know the difference between a token you created and one you bought, and why it matters on the return Not a fit if: your plan is "import everything into Koinly and export a report." That's not books. Budget and structure: Fixed price for cleanup, monthly retainer after. Milestone 1 (72 hours from access): wallet maps for both clusters, transaction count per cluster, proposed chart of accounts, and a short plan. Small fixed fee. This is the paid test. Milestone 2: full Phase 1 for both clients. Priced after Milestone 1 based on actual volume. Total for Milestones 1 and 2 targeted at $2,500 to $4,000. Phase 2: monthly retainer for both clients, quoted after Milestone 1. Ongoing and long-term if the work is good. To apply, answer the four screening questions. Short answers, skip the cover letter. Confidential client data. NDA required before access. US-based or overseas both fine, but responsive in US Eastern hours during Milestone 1 and the first week of Milestone 2.
