Custom Mailchimp Newsletter Designer & Developer – Reusable Editable Template

We are looking for an experienced Mailchimp email designer/developer to redesign an existing monthly newsletter and create a modern, professional, reusable Mailchimp template. We already send a monthly newsletter and have an existing HTML template. Rather than simply modifying the current design, we want to give the newsletter a fresh, updated look for September while retaining elements of our existing branding. What We Need We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with us on the design, not simply code a template from a completed design. The project will include: Review our existing newsletter and branding Recommend improvements to the overall layout and visual presentation Create a new custom newsletter design Work with us through revisions and customization until the layout is right Build the final design as a reusable Mailchimp template Make the major content areas easily editable in Mailchimp Allow us to replace articles, headlines, images, links and calls-to-action each month Include reusable promotional/content sections that can easily be changed or removed Ensure the newsletter looks professional on desktop and mobile Ensure compatibility with major email clients including Gmail and Outlook Very Important After the project is completed, we want to be able to create each month's newsletter ourselves using Mailchimp's visual editor without needing to edit HTML code. We do not want a generic pre-made template. We are looking for someone with both email design skills and strong Mailchimp/HTML email development experience who can take our existing newsletter and create something significantly more modern and visually appealing. We are open to creative suggestions and would like someone who is comfortable discussing ideas and making design adjustments throughout the project.
