Job Description Overview We're building US Medical Billing System, A web-based Clinic Billing & Practice Management platform for the US healthcare market. This is not a generic invoicing or billing tool. It's a full revenue-cycle system covering patient management, insurance, charges, claims (CMS-1500 & UB-04), payments, ERA posting, accounts receivable, statements, collections, documents, appointments, and reporting and all within one connected system. A complete Business Requirements Document (BRD) is attached, covering functional scope, modules, and technical requirements in detail. This is a serious, large-scope build. We need a team that can own it end to end not assemble it piecemeal. Who we're looking for An established development team or agency: not a solo freelancer. This project spans UI/UX, frontend, backend/API, database architecture, third-party integrations, QA, and deployment. We need people who've coordinated that as a team before, on a project of comparable size. Direct prior experience with US medical billing or healthcare RCM (revenue cycle management) software: not general billing, invoicing, or e-commerce systems. US medical billing has its own rules: CMS-1500/UB-04 claim structures, ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS coding, EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277), clearinghouse integration, HIPAA/PHI handling, and payer coordination of benefits. If your team has actually built or maintained something in this space, say so explicitly in your proposal this matters more to us than general full-stack experience alone. Comfort building HIPAA-compliant systems PHI security, audit trails, and access control are core requirements, not add-ons. A US-based team, or US-based team members, is a strong advantage (not mandatory, but genuinely weighted in our decision). Familiarity with real US healthcare workflows and payer behavior is hard to fake from outside the system. Nice to have Experience integrating with a clearinghouse (e.g., Availity, Change Healthcare, Waystar, or similar) Specific experience with eligibility verification (270/271) or ERA auto-posting Availability for ongoing post-launch support and maintenance, not just a one-time build Significant working-hours overlap with US time zones Similar examples of prior healthcare billing or practice-management systems you've built.
