DXF Vector Designer for Fire Pit

Job Description: We are looking for a reliable, long-term CAD/Vector Designer to convert various images, photos, and logos into practical, laser-ready DXF files for sheet metal fabrication. You must understand manufacturing realities, laser kerf tolerances, and structural nesting. We are not looking for standard graphic designers; you must know how to design for physical CNC cutting. Required Technical Skills & Competencies: Advanced Stencil & Bridging Logic: Absolute mastery in designing internal metal bridges. You must know how to eliminate floating islands (e.g., intricate animal features, text like "A" and "0") so no pieces drop out during cutting. Thermal Distortion Prevention: Ability to engineer bridge placements and minimum widths that withstand high-heat thermal cycling (for fire pits and outdoor panels) without warping or structural failure. Clean Vector Geometry: Clean node editing with zero tolerance for overlapping paths, intersecting lines, duplicate lines, or open loops. CNC Path Optimization: Ability to smooth curves and minimize node counts so the laser head cuts fluidly without stuttering or creating excessive dross. Expert File Exporting: Flawless execution of AutoCAD R12/2000 DXF formatting, ensuring splines are correctly converted to arcs/lines without segmenting into choppy polylines.
