Dark Fantasy Furnace Concept Art I’m looking for a concept artist to design a * furnace / forge environment* for a dark fantasy video game. The goal is to create a visually striking, atmospheric furnace that fits a *dark, gritty fantasy world*. I’m open to creative interpretations of the design, but it should feel believable and functional as a place where metal is smelted and worked. What I’m looking for: * *3 different design sketches/concepts* for the smelting furnace * The 3 concepts should explore different shapes, structures, and visual ideas * After selecting one concept, I would like a *fully colored version* of the chosen design * Dark fantasy atmosphere and strong visual storytelling * The design should feel suitable for a video game environment Deliverables: 1. Three initial sketches/concepts 2. One selected concept developed into a *colored, more detailed final design* I’m especially interested in artists who have experience with *dark fantasy, environment design, concept art, or game assets*. Please include examples of your previous work, particularly *environment or fantasy concept art*, if available. Important Legal & Workflow Terms No generative AI tools (Midjourney, etc.) are allowed in any part of the creation of this asset. All work must be 100% original. No third‑party assets, kits, marketplace models, downloaded meshes, textures, or code may be used without my prior written approval. The freelancer represents and warrants that the work is original and does not infringe any third‑party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or licenses. If any third‑party content is proposed (for example: textures, brushes, alphas), it must be fully disclosed in writing before use, with a link to the source and clear proof of a valid commercial license for use in a paid video game (Steam / PC) and related marketing materials. The asset may not be reused, resold, or modified for any other client or project. Upon full payment, the client receives exclusive, worldwide, perpetual commercial rights and IP ownership (work made for hire), including the right to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, and sell the asset as part of the game and its trailers, screenshots, and advertisements on any platform (PC, console, or mobile). The freelancer agrees to provide reasonable cooperation if any IP questions arise in the future (for example, confirming originality or license details in writing). The freelancer may show the final work in their portfolio only after the game or the asset has been publicly revealed, and only with the client’s written permission.
