Data Analyst for Pharmaceutical Sales

Title: Data Analyst for a Pharmaceutical Distribution Start-up — Product, Pricing & Sales Analytics (Excel/Power BI/SQL) JOB POST TEXT We are a new pharmaceutical import-and-distribution company preparing to enter our market. We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst to help us make evidence-based decisions from the sales and market data our team collects. What you will do: • Clean and structure raw market and sales data (from spreadsheets/CSV). • Analyse which products sell fastest, which are slow, and recommend reorder quantities. • Compare competitor prices to our costs and recommend an optimal price and margin per product. • Identify which customers (pharmacies) buy most and pay most reliably. • Build a clear dashboard and a short weekly insight report for management. Must-have skills: • Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, formulas, data modelling). • At least one BI tool: Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio. • SQL for pulling and joining data. Python or R is a strong plus. • Demonstrable experience in SALES, INVENTORY, RETAIL or PRICING analytics. • Clear written English and the ability to explain findings simply. Nice to have: experience in pharma, healthcare, FMCG or distribution; demand-forecasting; PL-300 (Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst) certification.
