Data Entry Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist for a one-time computer-based project. The goal is to accurately transfer provided information into Excel and Google Sheets. Project Scope: - Input data from the provided source files into organized Excel or Google Sheets - Format cells, columns, and sheets for readability and consistency - Review all entries for accuracy and correct any errors before submission - Deliver the completed spreadsheet by the agreed deadline Responsibilities: - Accurately enter data with a high level of precision - Double-check work to minimize errors and duplicates - Maintain confidentiality of all provided data - Communicate progress and ask clarifying questions through Upwork messages Requirements: - Proven experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, filters, and data formatting - Strong attention to detail and data accuracy - Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently - Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions What We Provide: - Source data files and clear instructions - Template and formatting guidelines for the spreadsheet Project Details: - Job Type: Fixed-price - Estimated Hours: 5 to 10 hours depending on volume - Timeline: To be completed within 3 to 5 days of contract start This is a professional freelance role.
