UK Data Protection Consultant - GDPR/ICO Compliance for Computer Vision Sensor Network

Description: projxt operates a network of camera-based sensor units (Theia computer vision system) deployed in outdoor and indoor public/commercial spaces as part of a DOOH/AdTech analytics platform. We need a data protection consultant to assess our compliance obligations before wider deployment. Scope of work: Assess whether our computer vision data collection (anonymised people counting, dwell time, demographic inference) falls within scope of the ICO's surveillance camera code of practice and/or UK GDPR Advise on what counts as personal or biometric-adjacent data in our specific setup, and what technical/organisational measures (e.g. on-device anonymisation, data retention limits) would reduce compliance burden Draft or review a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) for the injxt/Theia system Advise on client-facing contractual language for our analytics platform (BEACON) given data is sourced from public-space sensors Flag any risk that would matter to investors during diligence Requirements: UK data protection law expertise, specifically around surveillance/camera-based data collection in commercial/public spaces Experience advising early-stage companies (practical, risk-prioritised advice over exhaustive legal theory) Able to produce documentation (DPIA, compliance summary) suitable for investor diligence, not just verbal advice Deliverable: Compliance assessment, DPIA draft, and recommendations report.
