Data Researcher — Public Business Records Lookup

I need a detail-oriented researcher to build and maintain a database of small businesses in the United States using free public records. This is repetitive lookup work. Accuracy matters far more than speed. I would rather have 40 rows that are perfect than 200 that are close. WHAT YOU WILL DO For each business on a list I provide, you will find and record: 1. Formation / incorporation date from the state business registry 2. Entity status (active, dissolved, delinquent) 3. Names and titles of listed officers 4. Registered agent name and address 5. Principal office address 6. Estimated founding year from the company website, Google Business Profile, or BBB listing (this often differs from the incorporation date — flag when it does) 7. Property ownership from the county assessor site Everything is free and public. No paid databases. No scraping tools required. No contacting any business by phone or email — ever. REQUIREMENTS • Strong written English • Comfortable in Google Sheets • Reliable internet and a consistent weekly schedule • Willing to write "NOT FOUND" instead of guessing HOURS AND TERM 10-20 hours per week to start, ongoing.
