Data Scientist – Forecasting | Full-Time | 2–3 Months

I’m looking for a Data Scientist with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to work with me on a forecasting project over the next 2–3 months. What I’m looking for 2–3 years of experience in Data Science / Analytics Strong hands-on Python skills Experience actually building forecasting / time-series models Good understanding of forecasting model evaluation and validation Strong data analysis and EDA skills Comfortable working with messy, real-world datasets Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels Ability to work independently, understand an existing codebase, and build on it Experience with demand forecasting, sales forecasting, inventory forecasting, or retail/CPG datasets is a strong plus. The work You’ll be working on: Data cleaning and preparation EDA and understanding demand patterns Building and testing forecasting models Comparing model performance across different approaches Improving forecast accuracy Writing clean, reusable Python code Documenting the approach and results This is not a research role. I’m looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the data, experimenting with models, evaluating what works, and shipping working analysis/code.
