Dental Billing & Insurance Verification Specialist

We're a growing pediatric dental practice looking for a proactive billing and revenue cycle expert (individual or team) to own our back-office operations. Responsibilities: - Insurance verification before appointments - Insurance claim submission and follow-up - Accounts receivable (AR) cleanup and collections - Payment posting and denial management - Daily chart audits on clinical days to ensure all procedures, narratives, x-rays, tooth numbers, and billing are complete before claims are submitted - Weekly KPI report with actionable insights (collections, production, claim acceptance rate, AR aging, outstanding claims, insurance verification accuracy, billing errors, and recommendations for improvement) - Expectation is that you would be available to quickly inform us on any issues with clinical notes when claims are being sent, update charts with insurance information promptly We're looking for someone who communicates well, is detail-oriented, takes ownership, and helps improve our systems—not just process claims. Experience with pediatric dentistry, medicaid and oryx is strongly preferred.
