Deploy Open Source Canvas LMS

Deploy Open Source Canvas LMS (Migration from Hosted Canvas) We are a nonprofit workforce development organization currently using the hosted version of Canvas LMS. We are exploring a move to the open-source version of Canvas to reduce licensing costs while maintaining the Canvas experience for our learners. We are seeking someone with direct experience deploying and administering Open Source Canvas LMS. Please do not apply if you have general web development experience but have never deployed Canvas. Project Scope We need a production-ready Open Source Canvas deployment that includes: * Install the latest stable version of Open Source Canvas LMS * Recommend an appropriate hosting environment (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, etc.) * Configure the production environment * Configure PostgreSQL, Redis, NGINX, and required services * Configure SSL * Configure outbound email * Configure file storage and backups * Configure scheduled jobs * Harden security * Test the installation * Document the deployment * Provide a short administrator handoff session Existing Environment * Hosted Canvas today * Approximately 10–20 courses * Approximately 20–40 concurrent learners * Approximately 500 unique learners annually * Primarily self-paced workforce training Nice to Have Experience with: * Canvas course migrations * Importing existing Canvas course exports (.imscc) * Microsoft Azure or AWS * Canvas authentication (Microsoft or Google) * Ongoing Canvas maintenance and upgrades Questions for Applicants Please answer the following: 1.
