Website Finalization, Cloudflare Deployment & Technical SEO Specialist (Freelance, Fixed Price) The project I have five small websites in near-final state, built with AI-assisted tools. Design, layout, copy, and visuals are done. I'm not looking for a designer — I need a technical specialist to audit what's built, fix what's broken, deploy everything properly on Cloudflare, and make each site genuinely launch-complete: working contact forms, security hardening, technical SEO, and analytics. Hard deadline: all five sites live, secure, and fully functional by early September 2026. Please only apply if you can realistically commit to this window. The five sites (names/URLs shared privately with shortlisted candidates) • Site 1 — academic. A research-institute site (9 pages including contact, privacy, and 404). Fully packaged as a deploy-ready static build. This is the pilot site and your first milestone. • Site 2 — personal. A professional profile site for an author and academic. • Sites 3–5 — professional. Three brand sites (an advisory practice and publishing-imprint properties), similar size and structure. All five are plain static HTML/CSS/JS — no CMS, no build framework, no database, no login, no e-commerce. Typical size 5–9 pages. The domains are registered and already on Cloudflare DNS; one currently returns a 525 SSL error, which is exactly the kind of half-finished wiring you'd be fixing. Scope of work (per site) 1. Technical audit & cleanup of the static build — broken links and assets, console errors, HTML validation problems, mobile/responsive issues, and the inconsistencies typical of AI-assisted builds. 2. Proper Cloudflare deployment — Pages or Workers static assets (recommend the right target for 2026 and justify it), custom domain connection, DNS, SSL/TLS Full (Strict), apex/www canonical redirect, sensible caching rules. Bonus points for wiring each site to a simple Git repo so future updates are push-to-deploy. 3. Security hardening — HTTPS enforcement, security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy), and spam/bot protection on anything interactive (e.g. Turnstile). 4. Working contact forms — the forms are static today. Implement serverless submission handling with reliable email delivery to my inbox (e.g. Pages Functions / Worker + a transactional email service), including spam protection and proper success/error states. Some sites should also get a booking/inquiry flow (Calendly embed is fine). 5. Technical SEO baseline — verify or fix unique titles and meta descriptions, canonical URLs, XML sitemap with accurate lastmod, robots.txt, JSON-LD structured data (Organization / Person / WebSite with sameAs entity links), Open Graph + Twitter Card tags with preview images, full favicon/touch-icon set, clean 404. Verify every site in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools and submit sitemaps. Clean indexability matters to me — including how the sites surface in AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.). 6. Performance pass — Core Web Vitals targets, image optimization, sensible font loading. Lighthouse mobile scores of 90+ across the board, or a short written note on why a given score isn't reachable. 7. Analytics — set up privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, Plausible, or GA4 — advise me on the trade-off). 8. Gap analysis & handover — a short plain-English document per site: what you changed, what's configured where, anything still missing, and how I maintain it going forward. A readable summary, not a diff. Out of scope • Design, layout, copy, logos, visual identity — already done. • Keyword research, content SEO, link building — not part of this engagement (quote separately if you offer it). • Rebuilds or migrations — please don't propose converting these to WordPress, Webflow, Next.js, etc. Timeline & milestones • Start: as soon as screening is done (target: within the next week). • Milestone 1: pilot site fully live within ~1 week of starting — this locks in the reusable pattern (headers config, form handler, SEO template) for the rest. • Milestone 2: sites 2–3 live. • Milestone 3: sites 4–5 live plus all handover docs — everything complete by early September 2026. Budget $2,500–$4,000 USD fixed price for all five sites, paid per milestone. Basis: roughly 35–45 hours at mid-market rates for an experienced deployment/technical-SEO generalist, with heavy pattern reuse across sites once the pilot is done.
