Design a photo book diary

Overview I've written a 29-day illustrated diary of a family trip to Japan — around 8,800 words of prose paired with our own travel photographs. The writing is finished and polished; I need someone to turn it into a beautifully laid-out, print-ready photo book. It's a personal keepsake and a gift, so care and taste matter more than speed. The job Design a clean, elegant layout for a text-heavy travel book — think a proper published memoir with photographs, not a template-filled photo album. Balance running prose against photos so the book reads well and breathes: consistent margins and grid, a clear type hierarchy, sensible page breaks (no orphaned lines, no cramped pages). Final output as a print-ready file for Blurb (I'll be printing via Blurb, likely their hardcover Photo Book format, 8×10 portrait). Software I'm open on tools, as long as the output prints cleanly through Blurb. Adobe InDesign (via the Blurb PDF-to-Book plug-in) is ideal for a text-heavy book like this; Blurb's own free BookWright software is also fine. If you'd use something else, tell me how you'd hand off a Blurb-ready file. What I'll provide The full diary text (exported from Notion, roughly 70–90 printed pages once laid out with photos). High-resolution original photos, selected and named by day. I'm choosing the photos myself — I don't need you to source images, just to place and size the ones I supply.
