UX Designer (Contract) — Figma Make Execution & Research Support
Worldwide
About the Role We’re looking for a UX Designer to join our team and execute against an already well-defined product roadmap across two connected apps — GoalOasis and Verberr. This isn’t a role that sets direction; it’s a role that ships it precisely. You’ll take instruction from the Director, apply changes to our live Figma prototypes, and help keep our UX research moving. If you’re the kind of designer who gets satisfaction from turning a clear spec into a correctly-wired prototype — and who’s comfortable contributing ideas in research discussions without needing to own the roadmap — this is a strong fit. What You’ll Do • Take direction from the Director and apply it precisely to our Figma Make prototypes • Apply provided Figma Make prompts to update and extend existing prototype flows • QA your own work — verify screens are correctly wired and flows behave as specced before handoff • Contribute as a participant in UX research discussions (planning, synthesis, and readouts) • Work async across Mattermost, Notion, and Google Docs to stay aligned with the team What We’re Looking For • Strong hands-on Figma skills, including comfort working with Figma Make • Experience translating written prompts/specs into working prototype changes — not just visual design, but functional wiring (navigation, states, interactions) • Someone who can execute confidently against clear instruction, and ask good questions when it isn’t • A collaborative voice in research conversations — comfortable sharing perspective without steering the roadmap • Familiarity with (or fast comfort picking up) Userbrain for usability testing Tools We Use Mattermost · Figma / Figma Make · Userbrain · Claude · Notion · Google Docs First Task (Screening) We’ll provide a set of Figma Make prompts to apply to our existing prototype. Your task: apply them, then check and confirm everything is wired up correctly (navigation, states, and flows behaving as intended). This is how we’ll evaluate fit for the ongoing role. How to Apply Please include: 1. A link to your Figma portfolio (prototypes preferred over static screens) 2. Any experience you have with Figma Make specifically 3. A short note on how you approach QA-ing a prototype after making changes
