IT Desktop Support

We are looking for an experienced IT Desktop Support / Field Support Engineer to provide on-site “hands-and-feet” technical support for veterinary client locations across the USA. This is an on-demand field support role, where the engineer will be dispatched to client sites whenever hands-on technical assistance is required. The role will support desktop hardware, peripherals, network connectivity, user devices, printers and other IT equipment while coordinating remotely with the central IT/service desk team. Key Responsibilities Hands-and-Feet Activities The engineer may be dispatched to perform activities such as: *Hardware PC/laptop swap Monitor replacement Printer/scanner installation Barcode scanner replacement Network equipment physical checks UPS/power checks Cable replacement Asset tagging *Network Cable tracing Patch-port verification Switch port checks Access-point physical checks Power cycling network equipment Basic connectivity validation Coordination with remote network engineers *User Support Workstation setup User device replacement Peripheral troubleshooting New-user equipment setup Device collection/return On-site troubleshooting for priority incidents
