DevOps / SRE Engineer (Linux, VMware/vCenter, Python, Docker, CI/CD) – Long-Term Support

We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to provide ongoing support for our infrastructure and automation initiatives. This is a hands-on role involving infrastructure management, automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving software delivery processes. The ideal candidate should have experience supporting large-scale distributed environments and be comfortable working independently while collaborating with our engineering team. Responsibilities Maintain and support Linux servers, virtual infrastructure, and hardware environments. Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve infrastructure issues. Design, implement, and improve automation tools and operational processes. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and continuous integration workflows. Improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Implement infrastructure security best practices and company standards. Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting. Configure and maintain Docker-based environments. Assist with PostgreSQL/MySQL administration and performance optimization. Create and maintain technical documentation. Participate in troubleshooting sessions and knowledge-sharing activities. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and effectively leverage AI tools using advanced prompting techniques where applicable. Required Skills 5–8+ years of DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering experience. Strong Linux system administration skills. VMware vCenter administration experience. Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting. Docker and containerization. Python programming. Shell scripting (Bash). CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation. Monitoring and alerting tools such as Zabbix. Infrastructure automation (SaltStack preferred). Experience supporting distributed production environments. Nice to Have Infrastructure security experience. PostgreSQL and MySQL administration. LDAP administration. Java or C++ experience. Kubernetes or cluster management platforms. Experience learning and adopting new technologies quickly. Need to work 2 hours daily.
