C++/C# Developer – MT4/MT5 Access Server Auto-Selection

We need a Windows developer to build a tool that keeps MT4/MT5 connected through the fastest available broker access server. The problem is that MetaTrader can automatically move between broker access servers. A terminal may initially connect through a server with sub-1ms latency, then later switch to another server with significantly higher latency. We want to detect that behavior and automatically keep the terminal on the best available connection. ### What the tool should do - Discover broker access servers used by MT4/MT5 - Determine which server the terminal is currently connected to - Measure real connection latency to available servers - Rank servers by latency - Detect when MetaTrader changes access servers - Move or redirect the connection back to the preferred server where technically possible - Automatically use the next-best server if the preferred one becomes unavailable - Periodically retest servers - Provide a basic Windows interface and connection logs ### First Milestone We want to begin with a technical proof of concept. You should be able to demonstrate: 1. Access-server discovery 2. Current-server detection 3. Accurate latency comparison 4. Detection of MetaTrader server changes 5. A practical method for forcing, redirecting, or otherwise influencing MT4/MT5 to use a specific access server The fifth item is the key part of this project. We are not looking for a simple ping monitor. We need someone comfortable investigating MetaTrader's connection behavior at the Windows/network level. Relevant experience may include: C++ / C# / Windows APIs / TCP/IP / sockets / MT4 / MT5 / MQL4 / MQL5 / trading infrastructure / low-latency networking When applying, please explain briefly how you would approach detecting the active MetaTrader connection and controlling access-server selection.
