Systems & Automation Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a technically skilled, solutions-oriented Systems & Automation Engineer to manage, maintain, and improve our technology infrastructure and connected customer experiences. This role is responsible for ensuring our systems work reliably from end to end—from data collection and customer interactions through CRM communications, automation, reporting, and platform integrations. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can work independently, identify issues before they become business problems, and build scalable solutions without requiring step-by-step direction. Key Responsibilities Systems & Integration Manage and maintain integrations across Zapier, Brevo, Airtable, Typeform, GitHub, Render, and OpenAI. Ensure data flows accurately and reliably between platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting automations, integrations, and customer experiences. Monitor systems and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency. Data & Automation Manage data collection, processing, and workflow automation across connected platforms. Ensure data is accurately captured, stored, and routed through appropriate systems. Build and maintain automations that support lead capture, customer journeys, follow-up, reporting, and internal workflows. Reduce manual work by identifying and implementing effective automation solutions. CRM & Customer Experience Integrate business systems with Brevo to support customer communications and relationship management. Support personalized workflows and communications through appropriate automation and data integration. Help create a seamless experience across the customer journey. Development & Infrastructure Manage code repositories and version control through GitHub. Support application deployment, hosting, and system reliability through Render. Work with APIs and third-party integrations as needed. Document technical systems, integrations, dependencies, and procedures so the infrastructure is maintainable and not dependent on one individual. AI & Emerging Technology Support the integration of OpenAI and other appropriate AI capabilities where they create meaningful improvements in automation, operational efficiency, analysis, or customer experience. Evaluate and recommend practical technology solutions based on business needs. Required Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience with Zapier and workflow automation. Experience working with Brevo or a comparable CRM and marketing automation platform. Strong experience with Airtable and relational data workflows. Experience integrating Typeform or similar data collection tools. Working knowledge of GitHub, version control, and deployment workflows. Experience with Render or similar cloud hosting platforms. Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party systems. Familiarity with OpenAI APIs and AI-enabled applications. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
