Developmental Editor & Publishing Producer – Finance & Investing

We are seeking an experienced Developmental Editor and Book Producer to help transform existing material into a polished, publishable manuscript on financial literacy and investing, and guide the project through the full publishing process. Key Responsibilities: Content Structuring & Developmental Editing: Analyze raw drafts, notes, and outlines; reorganize and structure the material into a coherent, engaging non-fiction narrative. Line Editing & Refinement: Refine tone, clarity, and readability, ensuring complex financial concepts are accessible to the target audience while maintaining technical accuracy. Revisions & Feedback Loops: Work collaboratively with the author (Vasyl) to refine chapters through revision rounds. Publishing Strategy & Guidance: Provide end-to-end guidance through the publishing process (self-publishing setup, formatting standards, cover/layout considerations, or traditional query prep, depending on the strategy). Preferred Qualifications Proven track record as a developmental editor or book producer, specifically for non-fiction books. Prior experience working on titles in finance, economics, investing, or business. Strong understanding of book structure, pacing, and modern non-fiction publishing standards. Excellent project management and communication skills.
