The mentee has a background in Jewelry/CAD-CAM from Tyler School of Art and experience with: Rhinoceros 3D for jewelry and product design SLA and FDM 3D printing Laser cutting and digital fabrication TRIOS scan review and dental mesh cleanup Mesh repair, occlusion verification, model basing, thickness adjustment, and STL preparation 3Shape TRIOS, 3Shape Dental System, Meshmixer, and PreForm She would like to: Improve complete digital dentistry workflows from intraoral scans to printable dental models Learn advanced Rhino and Grasshopper workflows Build skills in parametric design and automation Improve modeling precision, surface quality, and production readiness Complete practical projects for her professional portfolio We are looking for a mentor who: Has experience in digital dentistry, dental CAD/CAM, Rhino, Grasshopper, jewelry CAD, product design, or digital fabrication Can review projects, provide technical feedback, and assign practical exercises Understands mesh repair, STL preparation, 3D printing, and manufacturing tolerances Enjoys mentoring motivated learners Candidates do not need expertise in every area.
