In most cases, no technology integration is required, allowing partners to launch in days rather than months. We're looking for someone who wants to build something meaningful while creating partnerships that genuinely improve access to healthcare. This is an opportunity to work directly with the CEO, influence company strategy, and help shape the future of one of the fastest-growing areas of ProviderNow. As ProviderNow grows, this position has the opportunity to evolve into a full-time leadership role with increased responsibility. Your Opportunity - Compensation: $20–25/hour plus an uncapped performance-based commission plan tied to partnership growth. ProviderNow is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead our national business development efforts and expand our strategic partner ecosystem. This is not a transactional sales role. We're looking for an executive-caliber relationship builder who enjoys opening doors, earning trust, understanding complex organizations, and developing long-term partnerships that create value for everyone involved. You'll work directly with the CEO to identify partnership opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, lead executive conversations, negotiate commercial relationships, and help bring new organizations onto the ProviderNow platform. The ideal candidate already has an established network of executive relationships and enjoys helping organizations solve meaningful problems. What You'll Do Identify, develop, and close strategic partnerships that expand ProviderNow's national reach. Leverage your existing executive relationships to create warm introductions and accelerate business development. Build relationships with decision-makers across employers, benefits organizations, TPAs, brokers, consultants, staffing firms, PEOs, healthcare organizations, digital health companies, insurance carriers, membership organizations, and other strategic partners. Conduct discovery meetings to understand each organization's objectives, challenges, and priorities. Develop tailored partnership strategies that align ProviderNow's capabilities with partner needs. Present ProviderNow's platform confidently to executive audiences. Lead partnership discussions from initial introduction through contracting and implementation. Collaborate closely with the CEO throughout the sales process. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful partner onboarding and long-term success. Expand existing partnerships by identifying additional opportunities to deliver value. Maintain an organized pipeline, forecast partnership opportunities, and provide regular updates on business development activities. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: An established network of executive relationships within healthcare, employee benefits, insurance, HR technology, or related industries. A proven track record of developing strategic partnerships or enterprise business development initiatives. Exceptional executive presence with outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills. A consultative approach to relationship building that prioritizes listening before selling. The ability to quickly understand complex business models and clearly communicate value. Experience navigating long sales cycles and negotiating partnership agreements. The ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong organizational skills and follow-through. A genuine passion for improving access to healthcare. Generate executive-level meetings through both warm introductions and targeted outreach. Establish ProviderNow as a trusted partner within your network. Secure new strategic partnerships that expand ProviderNow's national footprint. Build long-term executive relationships that create sustainable growth opportunities.
