Directus specialist wanted for a new reseller platform. Remote, 25h/week, 3-6 months, Oct 2026.

TENHIL is a digital recruiting company running several established job boards in Germany. In this project we're building a Directus-based reseller platform, moving away from a content-driven CMS approach towards something closer to a proper CRM. The work: The project will let resellers manage and submit job postings on behalf of their customers. Your job is the Directus layer underneath that: custom endpoints, hooks, flows and interface extensions built with the Extensions SDK, plus the data model itself — contracts, customers, resellers, resources, master data — and the roles and permissions that will govern who sees what. Much of this is still to be designed, so you'd be shaping the structure rather than inheriting it. There's an existing TypeScript/Vue 3 extension bundle running on AWS EKS that you'd build on and extend, and some external systems to integrate. What we need from you: Absolute must-haves (no exceptions): • Real experience developing Directus 11.x extensions — hooks, flows, endpoints, interfaces • Directus administration at depth — data modeling, roles and permissions, access control, collection and field configuration Beyond that: strong TypeScript and Node.js, Vue 3 with script setup, and enough PostgreSQL to model and query properly. You should have built actual business applications on Directus before and speak fluent English. We're hiring one freelancer, not an agency or a team. Useful but not essential: AWS (EKS, S3, Secrets Manager), GitLab CI/CD, MySQL, REST integrations, CMS frontend styling, German language skills and prior work on CRM-style data structures.
