Role Summary to be based out of poland only The ERP Platform Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and governing the release lifecycle of the organization's ERP platform and its associated applications, integrations, and technology components. This role ensures that ERP enhancements, configuration changes, and projects are coordinated, delivered in a controlled, predictable, and business-aligned manner while minimizing operational risks and disruption. The individual acts as the central point of coordination and communication between ERP functional teams, infrastructure teams, integration specialists, business stakeholders, vendors, and project managers to ensure successful deployment and adoption of ERP platform changes. Coordinate resources involved in the Change Management and continuous improvement of the solution Coordinate deployment of ERP enhancements, patches, fixes, and projects. Ensure alignment between release activities and IT change management processes and support of service owners. Manage release dependencies, risks, and scheduling conflicts. Communicate accordingly to project stakeholders Oversee release communications and stakeholder notifications. Ensure proper rollback and contingency plans are defined and tested. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Serve as the primary contact for release coordination across business and IT teams. Communicate and work closely with the ERP product owner, application managers, project managers, and business process owners. Coordinate external vendors and system integrators involved in ERP releases. Provide regular release status reporting to leadership and stakeholders. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field. Experience 5+ years of experience in Release Management, M3 ERP Application Management, IT Service Management, or Project Management. Experience managing releases for ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Infor M3, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar enterprise systems – M3 Infor preferred Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments. Strong understanding of ERP implementation, upgrade, and support processes. Required Skills Technical Skills ERP platform lifecycle management. Release and deployment management processes. Change management and ITIL practices. Environment management and testing coordination. Understanding of integrations, middleware platforms, and data dependencies. Familiarity with DevOps and release automation tools. Business & Leadership Skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong organizational and planning capabilities. Risk assessment and mitigation. Conflict resolution and decision-making. Ability to influence without direct authority. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications ITIL Foundation or ITIL 4 certification. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification. Experience with enterprise integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Infor ION). Experience in global, multi-country ERP environments. Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Infor M3, Workday, or similar enterprise platforms. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Release success rate. Percentage of releases delivered on schedule. Production incidents caused by releases. Change failure rate. Release cycle time. Environment availability and readiness. Stakeholder satisfaction. Audit and compliance findings related to releases. Reporting Structure Reports To: Head of ERP Platforms / ERP Application Manager / Key Stakeholders: ERP Product Owners Business Process Owners Solution Architects Integration Teams Infrastructure Teams Service Management Project Managers External Vendors and System Integrators Role Purpose (Executive Version) The ERP Platform Release Manager ensures that all ERP platform changes are delivered safely, reliably, and efficiently, balancing business agility with operational stability. The role is critical in reducing deployment risk, improving system quality, and enabling continuous business transformation through structured release governance.
