Ecommerce Designer — Product Pages, Email & Ads (20 h/week, long term)
Worldwide
We are a European ecommerce company selling sofa covers and home steam cleaners. We run three Shopify storefronts — Netherlands, Germany and France — and we are launching a fourth in Spain. One designer currently covers all of it. That is the bottleneck we are hiring to remove. You would be the second designer on the team, working directly with me. Briefs come written, with references and an exact deliverable list. We ship every week. What you would work on — the mix moves week to week: - Product page image sets: feature call-outs, infographics, size and comparison charts, before/after visuals — built once and localised into three or four languages - Email design for our campaigns and automated flows, across all three stores - Static and short motion creatives for paid social and Google, versioned per market - Print-ready packaging inserts, flyers and stickers - Landing pages and pop-ups now and then How we work: - Every brief is written in Notion: references, deliverable list, naming convention, specs - First draft, one round of feedback, final files - Figma for design, Google Drive for delivery, Slack day to day - Async. We do not run daily calls What we need from you: - 3+ years designing for ecommerce or DTC brands, with product page and email work in your portfolio — not only logos and brand identity - You can read a written brief and deliver without needing a call - You are comfortable producing one asset in four languages and keeping every version pixel-consistent - Professional written English - Figma, plus Photoshop or Illustrator for retouching and print-ready files - Genuinely reliable at 20 h/week, and able to grow into 40 h Nice to have, not required: - Motion: After Effects, or solid short-form video editing - A sense for conversion — you have seen which layouts sell and can argue for a choice - Print production: bleed, CMYK, die-lines - Any Dutch, German, French or Spanish (we handle the copy, so this is a bonus only) The terms: - 20 h/week to start, long term. 40 h/week is genuinely on the table within a few months for the right person - Timezone is open. We do not ask for overlap hours — we ask for answers inside your working day - We start with one small paid test project, 2 to 3 hours at your rate, before the ongoing contract To apply, send me: 1. Your portfolio, with at least two ecommerce product page or email examples. Say what you made and what your team made. 2. One line on how you would set up a single layout to be produced in four languages. 3. Your hourly rate and your weekly availability. 4. Start your message with the word SOFA so I know you read this. Proposals with no portfolio link will not be reviewed.
