We are seeking an experienced legal consultant to draft and customize our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy for a U.S.-based K–12 EdTech platform. The ideal candidate must have prior experience advising or drafting legal documentation for U.S. K–12 education technology companies and possess a strong understanding of applicable regulations, including COPPA, FERPA, and relevant state student data privacy laws. The documents must accurately reflect our product's data practices, be internally consistent, and align with industry best practices for school district procurement and compliance. Prior experience with U.S. K–12 EdTech is mandatory. Please include examples of similar work and your approach to ensuring compliance with U.S. student privacy requirements. Experience drafting related documents such as Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Student Data Privacy Addenda, or AI policies for education platforms is a must have.
