Editorial Interior Design Photography Gallery Editing Needed
Worldwide
I need a detail-oriented photo editor for straightforward interior gallery edits. Around 100 images total, including a few bracketed sets that need to be blended so they read as single natural exposures, not obviously HDR/bracketed. I'm looking for an editorial interior look. Warm, true-to-life color with real depth and mood. The Architectural Digest look, not the bright, flattened style typical of real estate listing photography. If you have editorial or design-portfolio work in your samples, that's exactly what I want to see. The look I need Warm, true-to-life color..warmth without color casts that misrepresent the actual paint, wood, or fabric colors in the room. Moody, not flat.. healthy contrast and real shadow depth. Lift shadows selectively where detail is being lost, not globally. Highlight/shadow consistency across the full gallery so it reads as one cohesive set. Straightened lines - Very important that all verticals and horizontals corrected (walls, cabinetry, window and door frames), architecturally accurate. Sharp but not over-sharpened..no halos, no crunchy edges, no artificial clarity/texture pushes. Bracketed images blended naturally — a few images in this set are bracketed exposures; they should be blended so they look like a single well-exposed shot, with no telltale HDR look (no glow, no flattened dynamic range, no ghosting). Clean but real.. remove distracting elements: outlets, vents, canned lights, visible cords, and any major distracting lumps/wrinkles in rugs, drapery, and upholstery. This should look like careful manual retouching, not a heavy-handed AI pass. AI tools are fine for small, contained fixes.. as long as the result would hold up printed large, like on a magazine cover. If it would look soft, smeared, or obviously synthetic at that scale, do it manually instead. Keep original image dimensions/resolution — crop only where it genuinely improves the composition, but don't resize down. Software & delivery requirements Must work in Adobe Lightroom Classic, Capture One, or Adobe Photoshop (tell me which you use and why, in your proposal). Edits should be taken to full completion, ready to publish.. Deliverables: The catalog file (Lightroom .lrcat with previews, or Capture One session/catalog) or layered Photoshop files, with your edits intact and applied to the original RAW files — so I can go back in and export myself with metadata and finalize adjustments. What I'll provide you RAW files (including the bracketed sets) via WeTransfer A short written style guide with before/after reference images showing the target look One round of feedback on a first batch, which I'd want applied consistently across the rest of the gallery Ideal candidate Portfolio that includes editorial or design-magazine-style interior work, or at least written messages that show you understand the difference in style from real estate vs. editorial design photography. If you have them, include specific before/after examples in your proposal. Strong color grading instincts and an eye for what makes a shot feel "designed" rather than just corrected. Comfortable blending bracketed exposures manually/naturally. Not reliant on heavy AI plugins for object removal or upscaling. To apply, please include: 3–5 before/after examples of interior editing work (editorial or design-focused preferred) Which software you work in and your estimated turnaround for a 100 image gallery Confirmation you can deliver the catalog/working files in a lightroom or capture one catalog Attached is a document featuring images to reference for edit style.
