Egocentric Video Recording Project

We are looking for individuals to help us collect first-person (egocentric) video data to support the training of next-generation humanoid robots. Prefer Countries: India, Philippines, France, Spain, Mexico, Egypt, Thailand, Turkey, Brazil, Nigeria Prefer Devices: iPhone 12 or newer Google Pixel 6 or newer Samsung Galaxy 21 or newer Any other Latest device. If you are from any other country and you already have first person video experience then also submit your proposal. This project involves performing simple everyday household activities while wearing a smartphone mounted on your head using a headband or mount (instructions will be provided). This is a hour-based project, with potential for repeat work based on video quality and compliance. Per hour of video will be paid $4 to $6. What You Will Do? You will record first-person videos in different areas of your home while performing natural daily tasks. ⚠️ The task lists below are examples only: Category 1: In-house activity. Cooking Dishwashing Laundry Sweeping/mopping Tidying Ironing Making bed Organising closets. General in-house tasks. Category 2: Pet Care, everything related to pet like feeding, grooming, etc. Category 3: DIY/Repair: In-house furniture assembly, plumbing, drilling, etc. Category 4: Office/Desk Work: Typing, writing on board, filling documents, printing, scanning, etc. Category 5: Fine Hand-Object Manipulation: Focused videos on Screwing/unscrewing, threading, small-parts assembly, Precise chopping, plating, pouring, Box packing, unboxing products, etc Category 6: Hobbies Activity like playing instruments, painting, writing, planting, gaming, etc. Recording nature: Interacting naturally with your environment. Do not try to just do things that do not make sense to your day to day in-house activity. ⏱️ Time Commitment & Payment Structure Average 10 hours of actual video recording data is required. We can take more hours if you are quick and provide high quality. 💰 Payment Terms: -Payment will be released only after successful Quality Check (QC) validation. -Payment will be made for approved hours only. 📌 Note: No separate payment for preparation/setup time Rework or corrections are not paid 🔄 QC & Rework Policy Once you submit the video data, it will go through a QC review If any issues are identified, you will be required to re-record/rework the videos Rework must be completed to meet QC standards No additional payment will be provided for rework 📌 QC Criteria (Strict Requirements) Your submission may be rejected if: Videos are shaky or unstable Resolution is below 1080p Frame rate is below 30 FPS Videos are blurred or unclear Hands or object interactions are not clearly visible Not following egocentric (head-mounted) perspective 📌 Important All recordings must be done with a smartphone or GoPro mounted at head level. ❌ Handheld / tripod / chest mount recordings are NOT allowed ✅ Only true first-person (egocentric) recording is accepted 📱 Requirements Smartphone or GoPro capable of at least 1080p resolution (4K preferred) Minimum 30–60 FPS video recording Ability to securely mount/strap the device on your head Home environment with kitchen, bedroom, living room Good lighting (natural or artificial) Ability to follow simple instructions Comfortable with first-person recording| 📌 Your face is NOT required and no other human should be in videos. 🎥 Deliverables You will submit approximately: Equal distribution with some variation across mentioned categories is prefer. 📌 Videos can be: Multiple clips (minimum 5 minutes per clip) Maximum 20 minutes per clip No file size limit 🎬 Video Guidelines First-person (egocentric) view only Natural camera movement is allowed Clear handling of objects (clarity is important) Maintain a normal daily pace (no acting required) Avoid idle time in recordings While recording audio, do not speak anything personal, activity noise is okay. Do not play songs or movies in background. 📐 Video Format Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (landscape – preferred) 📌 Videos should be recorded in landscape mode 🔒 Privacy & Safety Your face is never required No personal identity information needed Avoid capturing sensitive/private information All videos will remain confidential Used only for AI research and humanoid robot training
