Electrical Engineer Needed – Transformer Electromagnetic Analysis & ANSYS Maxwell 3D Simulation

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with proven expertise in transformer electromagnetic design and ANSYS Maxwell 3D simulations. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will perform accurate electromagnetic analysis and simulations for distribution transformers based on design data that we provide. The work will primarily focus on: • Distribution transformer electromagnetic analysis • Dynamic short-circuit withstand evaluation • Mechanical force calculations during short-circuit events • Electromagnetic force distribution analysis • Validation of transformer performance under specified operating conditions Software Requirements The work must be performed using ANSYS Maxwell 3D. Deliverables For each transformer, the freelancer must provide: • Complete ANSYS Maxwell 3D project/source files (.aedt and any associated files) • Full simulation setup and model • Comprehensive simulation results • Mechanical force calculations and plots • Dynamic short-circuit withstand analysis • Electromagnetic field and force visualizations, where applicable • A concise report summarizing the methodology, assumptions, and key findings Input Data We will provide all necessary transformer design inputs, including geometry, winding details, electrical parameters, and operating conditions.
