Summary

Cadstrom is building a specialized electronic component database and is looking for a data operations partner (individual or team/agency) to help scale our component library. THE WORK: You will review manufacturer datasheets for electronic components through our web-based platform and extract/verify technical data. Key tasks include: - Component Classification: Determining a component's primary function and categorizing it correctly (e.g., standard IC, USB connector, MOSFET, etc.) - Pinout & Signal Mapping: Reading pinout diagrams to identify electrical signals and mapping them to physical pin numbers - Electrical Parameter Extraction: Locating key specs (input voltage, capacitance, etc.) from datasheet tables, including Absolute Maximum Ratings and Recommended Operating Conditions - Communication Bus Identification: Identifying supported protocols (I2C, SPI, Ethernet, HDMI, DDRx, etc.) and assigning their associated clock/data signals - Digital drive characteristics (VOH/VOL/VIH/VIL) All work is done within our web portal with step-by-step on-screen instructions. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: - Hands-on experience reading electronic component datasheets, particularly for complex ICs, PMICs, MCUs, not just passives (hint, if you know all these terms off the bat, you might be a fit) - Engineering background or credentials strongly preferred - Strong English proficiency - Available for management check-ins during 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern Time - Willing to sign an NDA, Work for Hire agreement, and accept our Code of Conduct - Able to provide background checks for staff working on Cadstrom projects - Have a stable working environment with great, reliable internet access ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE (Paid Phases): We will be operating a qualification process across all successful RFP candidates through a structured, paid trial before extending to a long-term contract: - Phase 1 (Trial, ~1 week): Review 100 pre-selected components. Evaluates accuracy, efficiency, and platform feedback. Estimated ~20-40 hours. TO APPLY, please include: 1. Brief overview of your organization/experience and EE qualifications 2.
