I am looking for an experienced audio hardware engineer to design, fabricate, assemble, test, and ship a completed 1-unit custom dual-mono 3-band audio equalizer in a finished CNC aluminum enclosure. Circuit & Technical Specifications: Architecture: Dual Mono (two completely independent, symmetrical audio channels in one enclosure). High-Pass Filter (HPF): Active 12dB/octave filter with 3-position rotary switch (OFF, 45 Hz, 90 Hz). Low Band (Baxandall Shelf): 3-position rotary switch (60 Hz, 80 Hz, 120 Hz) with a continuous Boost/Cut potentiometer (+/-12db). Mid Band (Inductor Bell Curve): Tapped audio inductor (e.g., Carnhill / Crimson / CineMag) with a 10-position rotary switch (150 Hz, 250 Hz, 400 Hz, 500 Hz, 700 Hz, 1.2 kHz, 2.3 kHz, 3.3 kHz, 4.3 kHz, 5.0 kHz) and a continuous Boost/Cut potentiometer (+/-12db). Mid Hi-Q Switch: 2-position toggle switch (Wide Q ~0.7 / Narrow Q ~1.4). High Band (Baxandall Shelf): 4-position rotary switch (8 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 30 kHz) with a continuous Boost/Cut potentiometer (=/-12db). Component Specs: Ultra-low-noise OPA1612 op-amps, WIMA polypropylene capacitors, 1% metal-film resistors, sealed rotary switches (Grayhill / Lorlin), and Bourns / Alps RK27 potentiometers.I/O & Power: 4x Panel-mounted gold-plated Neutrik 1/4" TRS or XLR jacks (Ch 1 In/Out, Ch 2 In/Out). Internal local power rail filtering designed for clean (=/-15db) bipolar DC power supply. Required Deliverables: Complete Schematic, Gerber files (RS-274X), CPL, and BOM files. DXF front/rear panel CAD files for custom CNC faceplate milling. Turnkey physical assembly: Solder through-hole components, wire, assemble, bench-test on an audio analyzer, and ship 1 fully functional unit in a custom-milled aluminum chassis.
