Elementor WordPress Developer - Real Estate Website (Fixed Scope, Potential Future Work)

JOB TITLE: Elementor WordPress Developer - Fix Core Functionality on Real Estate Website (Fixed Scope, Potential Future Work) BUDGET: Fixed price, $500 upper limit JOB DESCRIPTION: We're looking for an experienced Elementor/WordPress developer to fix a defined set of functionality issues on an existing real estate website. This is a small, tightly-scoped engagement. The current site was built on Elementor about 6 years ago by a freelancer and still runs on that setup. We do NOT want a full rebuild - we need someone who can work within the existing Elementor structure and fix specific broken functionality. We've already completed a full site audit identifying exactly what needs to change. This will be shared directly with the selected candidate so there's no guesswork on scope. FIXED SCOPE (included in the $500 budget): 1. Mobile hero video autoplay - The homepage background video does not autoplay on mobile; it should autoplay and feel more immersive, matching desktop behavior 2. Contact form routing fix - The contact form technically submits, but messages are not reaching the intended inbox correctly - it currently collects mostly spam instead of real leads. Needs a working diagnosis and fix so genuine inquiries come through properly 3. Google Map re-embed - The embedded map needs to be re-pointed to our confirmed, correct business address 4. Homepage navigation links - Add a few key page links (e.g. Past Sales, Contact/address) near the homepage's past-sales preview section QUOTE REQUESTED (not yet committed — please give us your assessment and cost so we can decide): - General mobile responsiveness beyond the hero video — how much would a fuller mobile pass cost, and what would it cover? - A new homepage video/media gallery section to host multiple videos and social posts — rough cost estimate if scoped separately - Sitewide check of broken or slow-loading pages — what's involved, and would this require a paid version of Elementor or any other paid plugin/tool? - Any other technical debt or quick wins you notice, with rough cost, so we can decide what's worth doing later Please do NOT price these into your $500 proposal — just flag them separately with a rough estimate so we can evaluate and possibly bring you back for a second phase. OUT OF SCOPE FOR THIS JOB: - Content edits (copy, past sales listings, testimonials text) - we handle these ourselves - General design refresh / modernization - not part of this phase - Building a second website for our property management division - a separate, future project we may discuss with the right candidate after this engagement IDEAL CANDIDATE: - Strong experience with Elementor (not just WordPress in general) - Comfortable working within and extending an existing site rather than rebuilding from scratch - Able to diagnose form/email delivery issues (SMTP, plugin config, spam filtering), not just front-end fixes - Good communication - able to give clear, itemized cost estimates for the "quote requested" items above - Bonus: experience with real estate websites, mobile video galleries, or WordPress form plugins TO APPLY: Please share 2–3 examples of Elementor sites you've built or fixed, ideally including any mobile video/autoplay work or contact form troubleshooting.
