Elite Headshot Retoucher for Corporate Portraits (Future Work Also)

We're building a small bench of go-to retouchers for ongoing corporate portrait work, and we're selective about who gets on it. This is recurring. We shoot executive and team headshots regularly and want a couple of retouchers we can send work to again and again, so we're taking the time to find the right ones. The standard Clean, natural, high-end retouching for professional corporate headshots. The person should look like the best real version of themselves, never airbrushed or plastic. If someone looks at the photo and thinks "that's retouched," it missed. We care about realism, texture, and getting skin tones exactly right, and we notice the details most people skip. Every image needs: Accurate, natural skin tones. This is the most important thing. Many of our subjects have darker skin, and tones must stay true and rich, never gray, ashy, or washed out. Real skin texture kept. Even out and clean up, but no wax-figure smoothing. Pores and natural structure stay. Master-level technique. Frequency separation and careful dodge and burn, done by hand. Subtle eyes and teeth. A light lift, never overdone. No blinding white teeth. Consistency across the full set so a group of headshots reads as one polished collection. No AI retouching This is hand-done work, full stop. No AI skin tools, no AI portrait filters, no generative "enhance." AI flattens texture and shifts skin tones, which is the exact opposite of what we're after. We can tell, and any AI-processed work ends the trial immediately. If that's how you edit, this isn't the right fit. How we start We start with a small paid test. Send your portfolio, and if the work is at the level we need, we'll pay you to retouch 1 to 3 test images. Whoever nails the skin tones, texture, and consistency earns the full batch and a standing spot on our bench. First batch is about 35 portraits, with steady work after.
