Embedded Hardware & Firmware Engineer – Prototype Development

# Embedded Hardware / Prototype Engineer (Contract) Early-stage consumer hardware startup seeking an experienced embedded hardware engineer to help develop a functional MVP prototype for a compact electronic device. Seeking someone with experience in: * PCB design * Embedded firmware * Battery-powered devices * Sensor integration * USB-C charging * Rapid prototyping * 3D-printed enclosure integration Preferred experience: * ESP32 or similar microcontrollers * OLED/small displays * Low-power electronics * Compact handheld products Responsibilities include: * Hardware architecture * PCB development * Firmware implementation * Prototype assembly/testing * Debugging and iteration * Support through working prototype stage This is a contract/freelance role with potential for ongoing collaboration.
