AI/ML Engineer – AI Agents, Business Automation & Production ML

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer to help design and build practical AI-powered solutions that automate business processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce repetitive manual work. This is a hands-on engineering role. We are not looking for someone whose experience stops at model experimentation, notebooks, or prompt engineering. We want someone who can understand a real business problem, determine where AI or machine learning adds value, build the solution, integrate it into existing systems, and make it reliable enough for day-to-day use. The work will include a combination of AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, machine learning, data processing, APIs, integrations, and automation. What you will work on: Design and implement AI-powered business workflows and automations. Build AI agents capable of interacting with APIs, databases, documents and external services. Develop LLM applications using tool/function calling, structured outputs and retrieval-augmented generation where appropriate. Build and evaluate machine learning models where traditional ML is a better fit than an LLM. Develop data preparation, feature engineering and inference pipelines. Integrate AI capabilities into existing backend applications and business systems. Design evaluation methods to measure accuracy, reliability and business impact. Implement safeguards, validation, fallback mechanisms and error handling for AI workflows. Optimize model/API usage for performance, latency and cost. Containerize and deploy AI services into production environments. Monitor deployed models and AI workflows and improve them based on real-world performance. Document architecture, assumptions and deployment requirements so systems can be maintained by other engineers.
