QA Engineer Needed-Manual Regression+Core Flow Automation for New Notifications Module (Playwright)

Hi, We're a SaaS product team (B2B web application). We just shipped a new in-app notifications module and need it properly tested before we fully roll it out - both manually and with automated coverage for the core flow. What we need: • Manual regression and exploratory testing of the new notifications module (in-app + email triggers, read/unread states, notification preferences) • Regression check on the areas the module touches - settings page and dashboard notification badge • A written bug report with clear repro steps for anything found • A small automated test suite (Playwright) covering the core notification flow: trigger → delivery → read/unread → preference toggle • Tests added to our existing GitHub Actions pipeline Tech stack: • Frontend: React.js | Backend: Node.js / REST API | Database: PostgreSQL • Repo: GitHub | CI/CD: GitHub Actions | Existing framework: Playwright + TypeScript Ideal candidate: • Strong manual QA skills - regression and exploratory testing, clear bug reporting • Hands-on experience with Playwright for E2E automation • Comfortable working with an existing test framework and CI pipeline rather than building from scratch • Async-friendly, proactive communicator Budget: $200 fixed-price Timeline: ~3 working days
